The educational word processing program
The Renet-programs text window consists of a word processing program with two windows. These can be used independently of one another for inputting and extracting material. This gives you the following opportunities: |
Sending out texts (TXT or RTF files centrally)
Ability to send any text the teacher have written before for the student to work with.
The texts arrive in the students' top level word processing program
The texts are offered as read-only documents for students to scroll through, or use copy and paste.
Answer go in the students lower word processor
Students answers in lower window for teacher to save in selected location.
Save function automatically adds students name or number
Each document is given a recognizable name.
Paperless classes
Exercise and answers can be individually distributed without paper

The language laboratory integrated with video functionality
The Renet-programs language lab offers all the conventional functions of a language lab but in digital form and with added features such as moving pictures. This gives you the following possibilities |
Distributing Windows audio & video files centrally
Regardless the file format & frequency, teacher can select any file and send it to the students
Safeguarding master tracks
The files arrive in the "Renet-program recorder" as master tracks, which are read-only files.
The student track
This allows students to do their own "speak & listen" exercises.
Work up to 40% faster
Students can use the "skip silence key" to skip silences and using the mouse to get to where they need to go.
Interpreter function
This involves speaking your translation language. Then you play your translation to a colleague who interprets it back into the original language and later compare the original and the interpreted copy.
Working on your own
Students can download their own lesson material and do any exercise from the multimedia centre (if you allow them to), which is ideal for latecomers and absentees.

The teacher can produce multiple-choice questions very simply
The program allows you to produce multiple-choice questions very simply using plain text, photographs or any PC image.
Sending exams/tests to students centrally
The original file is never damaged, and can never be copied or taken by anyone the teacher decides whether or not students can return to a question
Monitoring progress and supervising during exams
Able to monitor progress at all times during the exam.
The teacher can oblige students to type in their name and/or number
The answers can be saved together on the server or on a floppy, or sent directly to the mailbox of the teacher.
Paperless exams
